Air Base 103 Cambrai-Épinoy was a French Air Force base located near Cambrai in the Nord department of France. Operational since 1953 and until 2012, it was an important hub for military aviation and served as a home for several squadrons over its history. The base primarily supported fighter aircraft, including M2K jets, and played a key role in France's air defense and NATO operations.
BA 103 was one of the first bases to house squadrons equipped with the M2K. It became a hub for testing, refining tactics, and training pilots for this advanced multirole fighter. The base served as a proving ground where the aircraft's capabilities in air superiority, ground attack, and reconnaissance missions were tested.
