Crotone-Sant'Anna Airport, also known as "Pitagora" Airport (IATA: CRV, ICAO: LIBC), is an Italian airport located 15 km south of the city of Crotone, along the SS 106 in the direction of Catanzaro from which is about 40 km, in the municipal territory of Capo Rizzuto Island.
Third airport of Calabria, serves mainly the province of Crotone, the Ionian belt of the lower Ionian Cosentino and part of the province of Catanzaro. The management company "Aeroporto S. Anna S.p.A.", founded in November 1993.
The structure, whose terminal is dedicated to the philosopher Pythagoras, is equipped with an asphalt track 2000 m long and 45 m wide, located at an altitude of 158 m/520 ft with orientation of the runway 17-35.
The airport of Crotone was born as military airport, inaugurated on 28 September 1941 as "armed airport n.434", to support the war industry.
The airport reopened for flight operations on 30 November 2017. From June 2018 Ryanair has reactivated two domestic flights for the summer season to Bergamo and Pisa.
Later, at the airport of Crotone remains operational the company Ryanair with two routes to Bergamo and Bologna and, from 28 March 2022, also to Venice and, from 1 November 2022, also to Treviso.
