Dierdorf-Wienau ( ICAO code : EDRW ) is an airfield located in the Westerwald region between Cologne and Frankfurt am Main.
At Dierdorf-Wienau airfield, powered aircraft can take off and land under visual flight rules (VFR ). Instrument flight rules (IFR) approaches are not permitted. The powered aircraft circuit runs north and south at an altitude of 1,800 feet (550 meters). Gliding can take place in Dierdorf when the weather is suitable.
The airfield has two hangars: one for gliders and one for powered aircraft.
The main building has a café, restrooms, and sleeping quarters for club members.
An airshow is held every summer.
